Welcome to the Shire of Sangre del Sol, the Broward County, Florida local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a medieval and Renaissance recreation group, residing in the Kingdom of Trimaris (Florida). The Society is an international not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to researching and re-creating pre-17th-century European history. The Shire of Sangre del Sol is the Broward County (plus a small part of Southern Palm Beach county) chapter of the SCA within the Kingdom of Trimaris which represents the greater Florida portion of the Society. The Shire of Sangre del Sol is known in modern times as Broward County in southeastern Florida. The Shire of Sangre del Sol recently celebrated our 33rd Anneversary, making us the oldest shire in the Kingdom of Trimaris.

Meetings and Upcoming Events

Shire Business Meeting

Our monthly shire business meeting is held the first Thursday of each month at 7:30pm.
The meeting are held at ArtServe, and are usually followed by either medieval and renaissance dance class, juggling lessons, or other period activites. ArtServe is located at 1350 East Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale Florida 33304

Fighter Practice & Shire Gathering

Come out and join us at our weekly shire gathering! The best way to find out more about the SCA and what we do for fun is come out and join us. We hold a weekly gathering at 6:30 every Thursday (excluding the first Thusday of every month) at Lady Eadaoin's ranch . We gather behind the house.

We offer Light Weapon, Heavy Weapon fighter practices, Arts and Science workshops, Heraldry information, as well as socializing with friends.

All are welcome so please come and join us!
